so the end has come to 'the big egg hunt' with all eggs now being shipped off to their new homes and their very generous owners.
'from little acorns, mighty oaks do grow' auction ended after being extended a few times with a most glorious bid of £1,400. this has helped towards funds for two amazing charities Elephant Family and Action for Children. with the final total still being counted!!
as well as raising what im sure will be a huge total for the two charities 'the big egg hunt' also smashed two world records! the first being 'the most expensive chocolate egg' at £7,000!!
then with an amazing 12,773 egg hunters!!! the world record for 'the most entrants in an egg hunt' was also broken!
and then what pops up on the BBC's bang goes the theory? only a familiar egg....
it has been an absolute honour to work on this project. not only helping kids here in the UK get a better start in life but also helping keep some of the worlds most endangered species safe from harm. i've loved every second! meeting other artists, getting to chat with the public and working with an amazing team behind the scenes that dont get enough praise for what they do! they're a small team but their ambition and heart are so huge they can and do achieve amazing things!!
